With pre-development of RBV1 on the horizon, the propulsion team is primarily involved in designing an engine test stand and developing turbojet modification projects such as an afterburner and exit nozzle. For Hyperion, the team has selected an EDF (electric ducted fan) propulsion system to drive the club's testbed vehicle.
